The greatest suburb in the universe and our closest friends on speed dial, ladies and gents we bring you Redfern and friends! A new Friday night vibe at the Cellar Door covering the best in food, wines and music. Each month we'll be featuring a new program of guest chefs, dj's and a focus on a few of our wines. Each Friday in August, we're inviting the best in the west, Superior Burger, complete with their incredible new burger express bus, to stop by the Cellar Door. These guys are far more than just another burger joint, they're are Superior! Working with 6 local suppliers and local farming community to source the best produce, from their Hunter Valley beef, salt aged by the Super crew for 10 days prior to processing them into patties made in house daily, to the vegetables grown on a small family run farm in Horsley Park, to the hormone and chemical free chicken, these guys are as legit as it comes. And the taste? Trust us, there ain't a burger in the city that compares. Big call? No way, try it for yourself. Be sure to get in early as they will sell out! On the music front across August we've pulled together a mixed bag traversing soul, boogie, rare disco, house and everything in between. Lovebombs will emerge from hibernation after an incredible Vivid rooftop afternoon with J'Nett. All our wines will be available as usual with a focus on Pinot Noir as well as spotlighting some new young winemakers we see coming up through the ranks. For August, we welcome Commune of Buttons to the Cellar Door! Inspired by a vibrant community of Adelaide Hills winemakers, 'Commune of Buttons' is headed up by Jasper Button alongside his sister Sophie, and mentored by who some consider the god father of Australian Natural winemaking, Anton Von Klopper. Fresh, lively, and described by Cellar Door staff as smashably delicious, these wines are a must try! We’re so excited to shed some light on one of Australia’s truly rising stars of wine so get down and get amongst the goodness!
