Sitting at the intersection of wine and culture, our cellar door (and wine bar) is a place to try our wines (alongside beer and spirits), enjoy one of our pizzas or cheese and meats boards alongside a mix of weekly curated experiences across music, art and culture. Entry is free most of the time, check the below for the occasional ticketed event.
Sunday's...let's taste. Tastings will run on the hour, every hour on Sundays. Tastings start at $15, guests will learn about each of our wines and our approach to winemaking, guided by one of the Cake Wines founders or friendly Cellar Door staff.

BIRDS OF REDFERN - A CHICKEN AND WINE FESTIVAL
Sydney's love affair with fried chicken has gotten so serious that we've decided it was time to throw Sydney's first ever fried chicken festival! Curated by Cake Wines and held at their Redfern Cellar Door, alongside Sydney food writer, DJ and podcast host Andrew Levins, Birds of Redfern is a celebration of Sydney's best fried chicken matched to Cake Wines, and brings together four of this city's most skilled and acclaimed chicken fryers. Chefs include Harts Yard, The Gladstone, Moon Park, Henry Lee's and The Mitchen (Mitch Orr Acme / Levins - The Dip).

After the death of the great songstress and singer Amy Winehouse there was an emptiness that was left. Now five years on, it's time to celebrate her life by performing her impressive body of work. Featuring cameo appearances by some of Sydney and Melbourne’s most esteemed artists including Eliza Hull, Billie McCarthy, Phebe Starr, Leah Flanagan, Jack Colwell, Billy Fox, and Sarah Belkner. Artists are accompanied by a full band including horn section. Each 1.5 hour show will feature Amy Winehouse songs performed by each musician, from the hits to the b-sides. Ticket price includes sparkling on arrival.

Hosted by Samantha Paynel, The Cake Wines School of Wine is a high-brow / low-brow educational course for people who want to know more about wine. This is not for the masters, nor for the secret sommeliers amongst us, this is for everyone else who just loves to drink nice wine, and better still, understand in a bit more detail the hows, whys, with what and with whom...of wine.
